"I am slowly making progress"

About: Talking Therapies North Lincs

(as the patient),

The first time I went to talking therapy I was suicidal. I hated leaving the house and meeting anyone new.

I was immediately put at ease and felt I could literally say anything and not be judged.

I had 12 sessions and they helped tremendously- I no longer blame myself for everything that ever goes wrong.

I am slowly making progress and overall it was a very positive experience.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and providing such valuable feedback. I am truly glad to hear that you felt comfortable and supported during your sessions. It’s inspiring to know that therapy has helped you make progress and feel less self-critical.

Your courage in seeking help and continuing your journey is commendable and I wish you all the best for the future.

Kindest regards
