"My treatment was 100% top class"

Attended Day Surgery at Wishaw General. This was for inguinal hernia surgery.

Couldn’t have been friendlier or more professional. Really courteous and made me feel relaxed and comfortable.

Our NHS has been underfunded for decades and so many UK mainstream media sources misinform and criticise. I’d love to be able to reply to the MSPs who spread “bad Scottish NHS” propaganda and reprimand them and the also the media who are complicit. 

Today my treatment was 100% top class. 

The place is well run, spotlessly clean, warm and made me feel totally at ease. 

The nursing staff and doctors / anaesthetist who spoke to me explained everything and checked with me that I understood it all. 

This made me feel very relaxed and confident about everything.

After the surgery the surgeon came to check on me and spoke to me, asking if I’d any questions and how was I feeling. 

I was in a ward and saw this same treatment given to everyone there. The treatment and staff care for patients was outstanding. 

Karen who dealt with after surgery was terrific and the nurse who welcomed me and dealt with me when I arrived ( didn’t manage to see her name ) was the same.
