(as a parent/guardian),

After tests, scans and a very lengthy surgery it was confirmed our boy had cancer. Our whole world was turned upside down.

Were were taken to Lochranza ward where we were going to spend the next 4-5 months. Emily was very quick to introduce herself to our son and made him feel very welcome. Every day Emily would make sure he was ok and was always offering him things to do to keep him busy and entertained. We as a family, but especially our son was so grateful to have Emily there for support. She was so kind and generous and went out her way to keep him entertained.

Dear Lynzn39,

First of all, I am sorry that you are having to go through this with your son at the moment.

I am very grateful that you have taken the time out of your busy schedule to send this feedback. I manage the Play team in the hospital, which includes Emily and I am glad that she was able to provide the support you need whilst here and ensure that your son has plenty to do to keep him entertained. I will make sure she sees these lovely comments and I am sure that she too will be very grateful that you took the time to share your story. She is very creative so I am sure she will have many more activities planned for your son to do whilst he is here.
