I had the most agonising pain from what the NP suspects is a torn ACL from playing rugby. My family aren't in the best way at the moment, and to call my Dad for help was tough enough when my Mum needs care at home. However my Dad always comes to rescue me so we sat in A&E for over 4 hours waiting to be seen.
Not only were drinks, teas and coffees handed out whilst we waited, but after such a long and painful wait, myself and my Dad said the NP who saw to us Arron (we think from his handwriting) was just such a ray of sunshine honestly. I suspect it's just how he is as a person, but he instantly made myself and my Dad feel much better, his whole demeanour and manner screamed professional, we felt calmer, looked after and totally satisfied with my care.
We even both said again just how brilliant he was. We understood everything he told us, how best to treat and gave good advice for future too. He thought of everything and really looked after us, nothing was too much even at 9pm in urgent care on a weekend.
We both wanted to write something that hopefully he will see, so that it's not all negative for the NHS at the moment (no doubt short staffed). Thanks Arron!
"Brilliant service"
