"Lack of confirmation, good appointment"

About: Adult Health And Social Care Services / Podiatry

(as a service user),

Made a self referral which was easy to do, no acknowledgement of receipt of the request which meant I was not sure it had been received. Should be easy to provide a txt or email.

Few weeks later a received a call for an appointment in a few days, great. Again a txt or email confirming the appointment would have helped.

Reception at Hunter HC ok but instructions on where podiatry were located were poor.

Actual appointment was excellent, podiatry staff were aware of my history, listened to what I had to say and took the time to fully examine me. Provided useful advice and made sure the treatment was exactly what I needed. Great to find a service that was allowed the time to fully deal with patients needs.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience of the Podiatry service. I am pleased that your clinic appointment was person centred and beneficial.

The feedback about email/text and location of rooms is helpful. We will look for ways to improve in this area.

Best wishes

Claire
