About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Arrived and didn't realise I should have brought slippers and pyjamas which was a bit embarrassing. The staff throughout have been amazing, making sure I knew what was happening and explaining everything. I am always a nervous patient but they made me feel relaxed and cared for. Delighted with my care. Thank you all so much.

Thank you for taking the time to share such positive feedback with us. I was so pleased to hear you describe our staff as amazing. It is heartening too to hear that they made you feel relaxed, cared for, and were able to explain everything to you. It is never easy awaiting any procedure, so when people are understanding and able to put us at ease it really does help.
