About: Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery Service - STARS / Young People (T3)

(as a service user),

I used to struggle with being dependant on alcohol and was hesitant at first to refer myself, now im glad I did because having someone to speak to without the anxiety of being told off is the best feeling ever. I feel more understood than I ever have before and now I care more about my safety and have limited my drinking to a healthy and safe amount. These services have definitely helped me a lot to learn new skills to manage my urges around binge drinking

Hi Pavopy96

I am Liz the T3 manager thank you for taking the time to send feedback of your experience of working with the service which I will share with the team.

It is lovely to hear of the progress you have made and the goals you have achieved, it takes a lot of motivation to accept and engage in sessions which you should feel very proud of.

The fact you now care about yourself and your own safety along with using the skills you have learnt to manage urges will support you as you continue on your journey.

As a service we pride ourselves around listening and understanding the needs of young person who access our support and working with them to achieve their goals so thank you for recognising this in your feedback.
