"Changed my outlook and gave me a positive feeling"

About: Rutherglen & Cambuslang Locality Support Service / ICST (Community Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy) Rutherglen & Cambuslang

(as the patient),

After being in and out of hospital for five months with a fractured spine.I was feeling rather disheartened as I was getting nowhere. Not progressing in any way whatsoever.

A phone call to the OT Rayanne and everything was arranged that day for Andrew to visit me at home two days later. That changed my outlook and gave me a positive feeling of getting better.

Andrew gave me different exercises that had been beneficial to my recovery. A long way to go-but going in the right direction.

Dear Island Lady,

Thank you for letting us know that the OT input from Rayanne and exercises from our physiotherapist Andrew have helped you to start feeling positive after such a long time with no progress since your fractured spine.

I am so glad to hear that you are starting to feel you are in a recovery phase and on your rehabilitation journey now.

I will pass your lovely feedback to Andrew and to Rayanne who will be delighted to hear it. We hope your recovery is speedy and smooth from now on.

Kind regards and best of luck,
