"Good to talk but told they are not for me"

About: Talking Therapies North Lincs

(as the patient),

I was quite disappointed in my appointment, I told my story to them be told they couldn’t help me! They said they are not the service for me! It felt good to talk and tell what I’m going through but to be told they can’t help me. I was very shocked they have sent me links to other services that I could use but would have to pay for, so I actually felt quite let down.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm truly sorry to hear that you felt disappointed and let down during your appointment. I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help and then feel your needs were not met. It is never our intention for anyone to feel unsupported.

Whilst our service may not have been the right fit for your specific needs on this occasion, I do appreciate that you took the time to share you story with us.

Your feedback is extremely important to us and will be used to review how we communicate and signpost to other services so that patients feel more supported even when we are not the right service for them.
