About: Community Respiratory Care / Community Respiratory Services (Craigavon and Banbridge)

(as a service user),

I am extremely happy with the level of care I received lately from the community respiratory team. Brenda listened to me thoroughly and helped me manage my breathing through excercises. I was diagnosed with COPD many years ago and because of the help and advice I received at home I have been able to complete day to day activities that I struggled to do beforehand because of my breathing.

Such lovely feedback for the C&B Community Respiratory Team and Brenda in particular to receive. It is really good to hear the benefits of the 1:1 home pulmonary rehabilitation exercise programme and how this care helps our patients like yourself with COPD manage your everyday symptoms. Well done for engaging with the service and taking this step to helping yourself, this is well evidenced that Pulmonary rehabilitation reduces hospital admissions and keeping active despite often very debilitating symptoms is so important. We agree that our patients need this support.

I look forward to passing this onto Brenda and the team. Really appreciated.
