"Recent COPD diagnosis"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / Accidents & Emergency

(as the patient),

I was struggling to breathe after a long history is asthma but had not suffered an asthma attack since I was in primary school,(I am 40) I went to A&are I’m Antrim area hospital and could not have been treated better! All the staff took every step and every precaution to get to the bottom of my condition. I was treated excellently! I cannot praise the hospital enough! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left 5 days later-I was given the upmost care. I am now diagnosed with COPD but I will always return to Antrim area hospital because, like they did with my son and his kidney condition-they wet attentive, professional and caring-everything you’d hope for in NHS care. A credit to our health care services!

Having an Asthma attack can feel very scaring so I am glad you felt safe in the hands of the team caring for you.
