"My tonsillectomy appointment."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I am sharing my experience of care here at Sunderland royal. I was scheduled for a tonsillectomy. I have received high standards of care, privacy, and support, due to the multiple nurses taking care of me at the time. I give great thanks to the ward sister, who managed myself, and my family with great care and utmost respect.

I also give my deepest thanks to the anaesthetist who was assigned to me, as well as the nurse who sat in with me. They both ensured I was comfortable, my questions were answered, and everyone had truly made my experience a positive time. I felt calm during the entirety of the day, and I attribute it to the multiple individuals who took care of me.

I’m leaving this review just to inform you that the people in charge of my care. They are the most amazing, heart-warming people the NHS could have. I couldn’t be more grateful to have had the team I had. I am deeply sorry as I am unable to recall the names, however the team I was assigned were all truly amazing. My deepest sincerest thanks to everyone.
