"Stroke recovery"

About: Edgware Community Hospital / Neurological Rehabilitation Centre

(as a service user),

Dear Nanthini, Bani, Emma and Sarah,

I hope you are all keeping well.

I just had my first short week back at work on a phased basis, as helped and agreed by Sarah, which went well.

I just wanted to say what a fantastic team you all have been as OTs. I didn't have the benefit of such excellent support when I had a stroke in 2012 while living elsewhere. The difference has been amazing. You each brought your specific and impressive skills and experience to bear on my stroke recovery in such a timely, organised, professional, knowledgeable, relevant and timely way.

Your care and concern for doing all that you could to help me on the journey back to recovery has meant a huge amount to me. I know it's still early days (and I am still in touch with Sarah), but I feel so much better than I did, a large part of which has been down to what you have all provided as a team to guide me through.

So a big thank to all of you, with very best wishes.
