"GP appointment due to early pregnancy spotting"

Dr Jones from Corbett Medical Practice in Droitwich called me just after 9am for a telephone consultation.

She was very helpful and informative on what checks would be the best course of action due to brown spotting I was experiencing at 6 weeks pregnant, and got me in for a face-to-face at 10am.

Before the appointment she asked if it was ok that medical students were in the room to make sure I was comfortable - never a problem for me as happy to help students learn.

She was thorough and made me feel very comfortable through the internal and cervical exam to check for infection or signs of any issue with my pregnancy.

She then called EPA at Worcester Royal while I was in the room to refer me for an early scan to check for viability.

She explained everything she was checking for and really put me at ease that I was in safe hands. There was no over promising that everything was fine (although it very well could be) but also did not cause excessive worry.

Overall a really positive experience which helped me calm down about my concerns as I felt in a really safe pair of hands.
