"The staff were very helpful and friendly"

About: Loane House / Ward 1

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

After a number of falls at home, I was sent from Craigavon to Ward 1, south Tyrone Hospital for rehabilitation. I was there over 3 or 4 weeks. 

The staff were very helpful and friendly and they couldn't do much more. They were very busy, but still made time for the patients. 

The food was middling to fair. 

I enjoyed the dancing and singing events, they always put me in a good mood.  I got help from the dementia companion to dress the windows for Halloween, and helped make some Christmas decorations for the ward before I left. The ward was always kept clean.
