I gave birth to my son in February 2014. It wasn't the most straightforward labour but thanks to the midwives and surgery staff I got through it.
I ended up being induced which still didn't start anything off very quickly. I was in labour for about 31 hours which ended going into theatre firstly to try ventouse delivery which didn't work so was followed by forceps. Finally my little man arrived.
I want to take this time to personally thank Mary, Margaret and Sarah the student midwife without these 3 I don't think it would of been the same. They made me feel comfortable and safe.
Also the surgeon who delivered my little boy was brilliant but I can't remember his name so if you know which surgeon/dr was on duty on 9/2/14 at 7.59am please pass on my thanks.
Also I would be very grateful if you could pass my thanks on to Mary and Margaret. Kind regards.
