I attended AAU recently via GP referral. The unit was under immense pressure with a high volume of patients waiting and long waiting times. Despite the obvious pressures every staff member was kind, professional and welcoming and within 7 hours I had been triaged, seen a doctor and had a CT scan. The patients in the waiting area were kept informed & all the staff were working flat out to ensure that the patients were cared for. I was so impressed with their dedication and professionalism & think they deserve praise for continuing to provide such a high level of care in such challenging circumstances. Huge thank you in particular to ANP Stacy for being so attentive and helpful.
