"Professional, compassionate and caring"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Breast care services

(as the patient),

I recently had an appt to get my nipple tattooed. I have waited for this appt for over six years.

I met Eimear, who previously nursed me through my illness.  This was extremely important for me to see her again, she helped me feel safe and I instantly felt comfortable.

I also met Ms Armstrong, a lovely lady who helped me feel relaxed and much better about how my wound looks.

This is a vital service that I didn't realise I had been holding my breath for.   Having this scar left me feeling mentally scarred and I was no longer looking complete or feeling complete. This affected all aspects of my life.

Please do not underestimate how important these two professional, compassionate and caring ladies left me feeling and looking.  I have a follow-up, and I pray that I meet both ladies again for this next appointment.
