I visited my Maryhill GP practice to have a PSA test following the advice given by Sir Chris Hoy. I was surprised that my PSA level was slightly high for my age and was forwarded for a second test 7 weeks later. This was followed by a MRI scan which indicated that there may be a problem worthy of a biopsy to confirm that I had a mild form T2. I met with a Consultant who offered me options to consider and I opted for EBRT. I also had a meeting with the Oncology Consultant who organised my 2.5 week treatment and my stay at Clan Haven.
