About: West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital (Yorkhill) / Cardiac Rehabilitation

Queen Elizabeth for 7 Days Jubilee 2 Days stent fitted. Started rehab a couple of weeks after leaving Jubilee. Thoroughly enjoyed the classes and the physios and nurse were very helpful and answered all my questions.

On one occasion my blood pressure was very low. I was not allowed to take part in the class sent to Gartnaval for an ECG which was very reassuring. Everything was fine. The pharmacist decided to take me off the beta blockers which has helped a lot.

Would highly recommend going to the class as there is always someone to discuss medication your personal concerns and any questions to help with your recovery. Thank you to all medical staff for all the help I have received and will continue exercising as much as possible.

Exercise is an important part of recovery. It is a pleasure to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed the classes.

I am also pleased to hear that you felt listened to, your questions were answered and that issues were addressed.
