"Bowel Cancer Follow Up Waiting Time"

September 23 I had a bowel cancer operation whilst living in Scunthorpe.  I was given the all clear afterwards.  I have since also had a Stoma Reversal.  I was told I should have an annual review for 5 years. I returned to Scotland (Ardrossan) April 24. The notes being transferred my gp referred me for these checks to Ayrshire & Arran June 24. 17 months later I haven't got an appointment no sign of one I have phoned 3 times to ask on where am I? Time frame ? Etc. My doctor has re-referred me last month I did receive a letter asking if I still want an appointment would you believe. I find this a totally unacceptable time frame! Especially a Cancer scenario, as we all know what it can do. I have been told that Ayrshire & Arran have much longer times than anywhere else? Why is this? 

Again I find it totally unacceptable if there was a problem it could now be too late! I believe this needs immediately rectifying.
