"I feel more motivated"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Pulmonary Rehabilitation

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I enjoyed classes, I feel more motivated and have managed to stop vaping.

I feel I can walk further and have managed to return to fishing trips with friends. I feel better with a combination of exercise classes, oxygen and my new medication.

I aim to start a weight management programme and focus on losing weight.

Dear bracehz37

Thanks for taking the time to provide your positive feedback following your recent attendance with the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Firstly, congratulations on stopping the vape! This is wonderful to hear. It is great to also hear you enjoyed the course and you now feel fitter and are able to go fishing with your friends again.

A combination of increasing your fitness levels, stopping smoking the vape, reducing your weight and the right medications can make such a big difference to your lung health and general health and well-being. Keep up the great work.

We wish you well for the future.

Kind Regards

Fiona Galbraith
