"Sick of getting dismissed"

About: Riverbank Medical Centre St Richard's Hospital

(as the patient),

I've been in and out of GP for years, and my symptoms are just constantly dismissed. They're never looked at as a whole, but separate problems that they try to treat the symptoms of, and not the root.

I was seen by a gastroenterologist and I've told them about the issues I'm having, they said because it's not to do with the issue I'm seeing them for (I had Crohn’s) they can't do anything about it. I feel like they are gaslighting me by saying they don't think there's anything wrong and that they are not concerned, even though the symptoms I'm talking about are lasting for years on the daily during or after food intake. They tell me to speak to GP, but GP doesn't do anything about it either. Recently I spoke to GP and they barely spoke to me for 3 minutes and seemed to just try to finish the call as quickly as possible.

I'm sick of getting dismissed, gaslit and not seen as a human by the medical field. I have lost all hope in the NHS because I never get any answers. If my generic blood test looks fine, they say they are not concerned and can't do anything for me. So I just have to suffer from my moderate symptoms until I get so sick they can't ignore me anymore. I'm sick of it. It's not HEALTH care, it's SICK care. I feel the NHS hasn't cared about me being actually healthy and not just "not about to die", ever.
