"About catering"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Neurology

(as the patient),

Just to let you know, don't know whose fault but didn't get my lunch during my stay, and staff member was surprised why. Maybe my menu I done the day before didn't go through, maybe they forgot. My condition was not very good, lots of things going on in my head and missing a meal was not easy to go with. They gave me some leftovers which I couldn't eat  because I get so nervous if I eat I'm going to be sick. Not here to tell you how to run this business, but this definitely is not the way to do it. Also one day was sent for scan, came back and there was no food for me, had sandwich and some snack. I wrote this to let you know how I feel and this not right , came here for help but not sure is the right place.

Thank you.

Hi,

I am sorry to hear that you had a poor experience on our ward with regards to catering. Ensuring that our patients have adequate access to food and drink is very important to us and I would like to ensure that we get this right for all of our patients. I will look into what has happened and put steps in place to ensure that this does not happen to any of our other patients.

Best Wishes

Suzie
