Out running and felt slight ankle pain. Iced foot at end of run but next day pain was excruciating when I tried to walk. Right foot extremely painful. Attended private physio who treated me for PF. Got exercises and laser treatment. Not much progress in 3/4 weeks.
Attended physio at my GP surgery. Told my muscles in right buttock needed to be strengthened as my right knee turning inwards when walking/running - putting more pressure on my foot. Shown exercises to do, given sheet with exercises to do daily. Given advice re my running shoes and also about wearing insoles.
Was very pleased with my treatment and now working at doing all the exercises on a daily basis. Hoping to start running again in the near future
