"The care was exceptional"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Clinical assessment unit

(as a relative),

My mother-in-law was admitted to clinical assessment unit forth valley hospital with bad kidney infection. Despite the unit being extremely busy, the care was exceptional.

She was quickly triaged by staff and bloods taken . Within hours she was seen by Tegan, advanced nurse practitioner, whose clinical care & diagnosis was exceptional she went above and beyond explaining everything and ensuring my mother in law who’s elderly could understand the clear plan .

During the night she was cared for by staff nurse Eilidh, whom was so efficient, caring , and went above and beyond ensuring my mother in law was comfortable and pain free .

Despite the unit being extremely busy, the staff went above and beyond and just want say thank you for looking after my precious mother-in-law, you are all a credit not just to forth valley but a credit to NHS!

Hi emGer83,

Sorry to hear your mother-in-law was unwell and I hope she's on the mend. I'll pass on your kind words to Tegan. It's always appreciated at these busy times to get positive feedback so it's very welcome and makes the team feel like they're making a difference, even when it's challenging.

Take Care

Lisa
