I visited A and E today as I was feeling really ill, pains in chest, left arm, stomach and groin area. I arrived at the hospital at around 2.45 pm. After a short wait I was seen by triage, this was then follow with bloods taken, ECG, x Ray and CT scan. The Dr Chard, she was absolutely fantastic, attentive, caring, reassuring and thorough, she left no stone unturned, kept me updated throughout every process all with an excellent bedside manner. Having had a full MOT she then arranged for me to have ultra sound scan and appointment with the gastrointestinal team for Friday.
All staff at the department were helpful even though they were clearly run off their feet, they were a credit to their professions.
I would like again to thank Dr Chard for everything, The Health Board are really lucky to have such an excellent young Dr as are all the patients who will have contact with her. Thank you
