Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Medical Ambulatory Care Unit at University Hospital Wishaw for the exceptional care they provided to our father recently. He was admitted with pneumonia and was acutely unwell and sadly passed away in MAU 1 the following day.
Throughout this difficult time, the entire team showed remarkable compassion, professionalism and kindness—not only to our father but to every one of us. Nothing was ever too much trouble and their calm, thoughtful approach brought real comfort when we needed it most.
We would like to give special thanks to Jamie, whose patience, warmth and gentle manner made an enormous difference. His kindness will always be remembered by our family.
Thank you to the whole team for the outstanding care you provided and thank you to MAU 1 who cared for our father in his final moments. We are extremely grateful for everyone involved in his care.
