"They took such wonderful care of me"

About: Gynaecology / Gynaecology Suite Ninewells Hospital / Planned Surgical Ward (Ward 36)

(as the patient),

I stayed at Ward 36 Ninewells for three nights after my hysterectomy surgery. I had waited for this surgery for two and a half years, having suffered debilitating pain from Adenomyosis.

Jenny and the team on the ward took such wonderful care of me. Jenny told me that the weed was set up to help tackle the long waiting lists and, having waited so long myself, I fully support their work. There are so many women out there, like myself, whose quality of life is suffering.

I was so impressed with everyone working on the ward. From the powerhouse surgeon, Dr Stofberg, to Jenny, the sweetest, most caring and understanding nurse you can imagine, and all the other people in between. They have changed my life. I can't thank them enough.

We are indeed a new ward and team since August and this feedback is brilliant for us to know we are really helping people after having to wait such a long time for your procedure. The team especially Jenny will be delighted to hear this positive feedback and I will share it with them.
