At around 09:15 hours, a very helpful/pleasant nurse together with a student nurse registered me on the hospital computer and fitted a cannula. I was then taken to change into appropriate clothing for my procedure.
The doctor who was to perform the procedure then met me and took me along to the ward where the procedure was to take place where 3 nurses were in attendance.
The procedure commenced to conclusion with the doctor and nurses all carrying out the duties required of them in a very efficient and friendly manner. The procedure had moments of pain but having come through it, I felt pretty good.
Then I was taken to a wee side unit where another very helpful and pleasant nurse attended me for a few minutes until I was released for a bite to eat and drink until my lift home arrived.
"Efficient and friendly staff"
