"Helped me reflect and build skills"

About: Justice Teams / Lanark Justice Team

(as a service user),

I've previously been on Probation in England, so was unsure what my first  Community Payback Order in Scotland would be like. I found the Order to be manageable and that my contact with my social worker was flexible and appropriate for the level of support I needed. They maintained good  communication and provided suitable times for Supervisions. I felt they listened to my needs and overall felt valued.

I do believe however that there is less access to services here compared to when I was on probation in England which could be improved.

Overall I would say that Supervisions have helped me identify and re-affirm areas which I need to work on, which the focus work helped me reflect and build skills to help with these.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback and experience with Lanark Justice Service. I am encouraged to hear of the positive experience that you have had whilst on Order. It it very important you feel you were supported and valued I am pleased to hear you feel you have taken something positive from being on CPO. I am very encouraged to hear of the flexible approach the worker had and that you have identified areas where you feel you can develop. I will ensure the Team are aware of your positive feedback, thank you again.
