I was recently admitted to 19A. As a nurse, it’s never nice being the patient and not holding the control of the situation. The nurses and csw’s were just amazing, so caring and attentive. The plastic surgery team was also fantastic and reassuring. Everyone from the recovery staff and theatre staff who looked after me whilst in their care for my procedure under local anaesthetic were so lovely and helped calm me down when I was having a bit of meltdown. They are all a credit to the NHS and thank you so much for making me feel at ease when I was on the other side of the job.
