"Impressed by the care and compassion"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Same Day Admissions Unit (SDAU)

(as the patient),

I attended the RAH Same Day Admissions unit  in order to have an urology surgical  procedure .   I was so impressed by the care and compassion of the staff - from the Nurse in Charge, to the student nurse.  They all treated me like an individual and spend time to ensure I was reassured and cared for throughout my stay.

In these times when the NHS is under immense pressure, it is understandable that standards can slip - but this team certainly did not.  Well done to them all and a heartfelt ‘thank you’ for taking care of me so well.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to hear that the team in the RAH Same Day Admissions Unit provided such compassionate, personalised care throughout your procedure. It is especially meaningful to know that you felt reassured and supported at each stage of your stay.

Your recognition of the dedication shown by the staff, particularly during a period of significant pressure across the NHS, is greatly appreciated. Your kind words will be shared with the team and will certainly mean a great deal to them.

Wishing you a smooth and comfortable recovery.
