"Outpatient appointment neurology"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

Got to my appointment with plenty time to spare, to find there was a 45-minute delay, which to be honest is nothing new, which I do find inconsiderate, 20 minutes is fair but 45 minute is very annoying. Got to end of 45 minutes, receptionist said should be called in a minute, 10 minutes later find out out the doctor is now on the phone to other patients and to top it off a 3.80 charge on car park

Dear guidecz63

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your appointment at the hospital.

I am so sorry to read that there was a significant delay in your appointment and fully acknowledge how frustrating this will have been for you. We do aim to keep to time with appointments but there are times when this is beyond our control with some patient's take longer than anticipated. However, I hope that staff kept you updated with what was happening with your appointment.

I will share your feedback with the team to see where we can make any changes to improve the experience for our patients whilst they are waiting for their appointment.

Thank you again and I wish you well.

Kind regards

Clare Blackburn
