"Made me feel really safe and looked after"

I recently was treated for a missed miscarriage at the Early Pregnancy Unit. Every member of staff I dealt with, both on the phone and in the hospital, were so kind and absolutely lovely. 

I’d like to make a special shout out to Kirsten the staff nurse who I saw and spoke to regularly, who was so compassionate and caring and made me feel really safe and looked after. No question I asked was too big and she did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. I wish all medical professionals were as wonderful as her. 

Also big thank you to Sarah and Lisa who were also very kind, trusting and knowledgeable.  

The unit is so essential for those dealing with complications in early pregnancy and I don’t know what I would have done without the support I received from that team.
