About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Same Day Emergency Care

(as a carer),

Immediately inside the door, opposite car park . The information and help desk, could not help with a request for a wheelchair. They said it’s not anything that they could help with. I was told that if I go to the X-ray department, they have them there.

My only option was to use the (out of hours) phone at the reception. Whoever answered the phone organised a chair immediately. When I informed the person at the desk that I had a wheelchair now organised, they then produced a chair from a side office.

Not a very good service from the very place that you go to for help and information when entering the building.
