About: Maternity care / Delivery suite

CAH Delivery Suite-

To Midwife Lucy, QUB Student Nurse Jodie and Delivery Suite Sister Aisling working night shift at the end of September. I cannot thank you all enough for facilitating the safe arrival of our daughter after a scary experience at home, the professionalism, calmness, care and compassion I endured from you all was incredible. From waiting at the door to calming me in a stressful situation, to Jodie and Lucy for keeping me and my partner so calm and updating us on every next move. For sticking to my birth plan and making sure I was comfortable. The delivery and aftercare of our daughter was nothing short of beautiful and this is all down to you girls. I would do it all again in a heartbeat with you two as my midwives.

To Jodie- QUB are lucky to have an amazing student who is so dedicated as you are. I hope your final year goes smoothly and I wish you all the best in your Midwifery career, this job is meant for you.

To Lucy- you were absolutely fabulous and I can’t thank you enough to have been under your care, you were a dream

Firstly congratulations on the birth of your baby, I hope you are doing well. Thank you so much for your kind words and comments with regards your care within CAH delivery suite. I am delighted to read that staff were able to instill calmness and control to your during your birth experience and were able to put your husband at ease throughout the stressful situation. Your lovely comments are encouraging for our team and I will happily ensure your comments are passed on to Ashling and Lucie. I have also contacted the Trusts practice education facilitator to ensure that your lovely feedback regarding Jodie is forwarded onwards and that QUB are notified of your positive experience with one of their student midwives.
