"Good work by OT department ignored in outside world"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Occupational Therapy University Hospital Monklands / Inpatient Occupational Therapy

(as a service user),

Whilst in hospital I was very well looked after by Lorna OT. Lorna arranged to have a rail put at my back door allowing me access to the garden. I first asked for this 2 years ago but Lorna managed the impossible in 2 weeks. Unfortunately the council were not so obliging. They put a handle on the wall which still makes access unachievable. Back to square one. I now feel that all the good work being done by the OT department in hospital is totally ignored when discharged into the outside world.
