(as the patient),

I attended the day surgery unit in Hairmyres for a scope and I just want to say a massive thank you to the nursing staff there. 

I was really anxious about my scope but they made me feel very safe and even had a few laughs. During my scope, I was finding it quite difficult but I was constantly reassured and managed to finish it because of this. 

Even though it was quite a stressful experience, the staff went above and beyond to help me and I just wanted to say how much I appreciated their support and kindness.
