"Phenomenal care in A&E"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I woke with pain my back that was unbelievable. I dont live far from A&E dept so managed to drop in and was looked after from the minute i walked in by reception, to Camilla the nurse that looked after me and of course the domestic staff that make the best cups of tea.

I was thinking of everything that could go wrong and the doctor (Jenny) managed to allay my fears step by step for each test that was taken and results were delivered. I am still in pain but i dont have the fear of god anymore, just the reassurance of angels instead.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your positive feedback following your recent visit to our Emergency Department. This is a great example of the patient centred care that we strive to provide. It was a pleasure to share your comments with the staff involved. Please accept my best wishes and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.
