"Became acutely unwell as a transplant patient"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Renal Medicine (Kidney)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 108, as I became acutely unwell as a transplant patient. I felt very ill and slightly scared, but the staff were good.

Dear Debkb94,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience following your admission to Ward 108. I'm really sorry to hear that you were feeling very unwell and understandably frightened during what must have been a difficult time.

I'm pleased to hear that the staff were supportive and helped you feel cared for. Your feedback is important to us, and I will ensure it is shared with the team on Ward 108—they will appreciate knowing that their efforts made a positive difference during your stay.

Kind regards,

Scott
