Around February, I noticed that my body was continuously swelling, I had difficulty breathing, and I wasn't sleeping well. Because I was scared, I foolishly waited until it became quite serious to go to the GP. Thankfully, the GP quickly referred me to QMC. I saw several doctors in different specialties and was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and heart failure! Under the incredibly professional treatment and care of the doctors and nurses, I was finally able to go home. Initially, I still had a lot of worries, but thankfully a specialist nurse, Shelly, was arranged to visit me regularly at home to adjust my medication. Thanks to this amazing recovery, I must express my gratitude to Shelly and the doctors.
