"Hospital at Home"

About: Integrated Community Services Service Delivery Unit / Hospital at Home (Physical Health) Worcestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I was recently taken to Worcester royal hospital with pain in my stomach. This was the third trip to the hospital is as many weeks. I arrived in an ambulance and was sent directly home to be treated by the hospital at home.

The nurse arrived at my home within 30 minutes of being dropped off. She was kind, listened to me and knew exactly what to do. She spent a lot of time with me and because she listened to what I had to say, resolved my problem straight away.

Within a couple of days I was almost back to normal and feeling well. If only they had taken over my care the first time I had been to hospital. Thank you.

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback on your recent experience. Very pleased that you had a positive experience despite obviously not feeling well. Your feedback has been shared with the team which is very valuable as we are developing a new service and all the feedback contributes to the development and the confidence of the staff delivering what they believe in. Many thanks again for taking the time to complete this valuable feedback.
