"Excellent, professional and friendly care"

I attended the Ophthalmology Department at Ayr Hospital for a visual field test and wanted to share my very positive experience. I was seen straight away, which was greatly appreciated, and the whole appointment ran smoothly from start to finish.

Darren, who carried out the test, was friendly, professional and took the time to introduce himself and explain everything clearly. He made sure I understood each part of the process, didn’t rush, and explained what would happen next in terms of follow-up.

It is  important to highlight that people often post reviews only when things haven’t gone well, but experiences of excellent care deserve equal recognition. Darren’s calm, professional and reassuring manner made what could have been a stressful appointment a very positive one.
