"My story is about me cutting open my hand"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I'm 13 years old today my hand was cut open by a chisel in wood tech. It had started bleeding and would not stop for another 10 minutes. My mum was informed and came to pick me up and take me to the hospital. When I got to the hospital and checked in and waited for about 5 minutes.

The lady that took care of me was called Michelle and was very nice about it and was trying to keep me calm (she did an amazing job) after I had taken care of I had to get xrayed and then checked up on today.

Today was not very good but the care from the hospital made it better.

What a kind post you have shared following your experience in our department thanks. That must have been quite a fright initially and it's great to hear that Michelle reassured you and sorted the wound. I'll make sure Michelle sees your post.

In more serious news - I do hope your Tech teacher "cuts" you (sorry..) a bit of slack with the project you're working on and allows you some time to catch up.
