"Managed to take my blood first time"

About: East Kilbride Locality Support Service / Treatment Room (East Kilbride)

(as a service user),

I had my bloods taken following a referral from my doctor. My phlebotomist was fantastic and managed to take my blood first time which is unusual.

The waiting area was extremely cold due to the automatic doors opening and closing every time someone entered. I’m not sure what they could do to prevent this.

Apart from that a few pictures in the treatment room would brighten up the area and could put children at ease.

Good morning Rambo20&

Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience within the treatment rooms when getting your bloods taken.

I'm pleased to hear that you had a positive experience and the phlebotomist was able to obtain your bloods first time. I will share your kind words with the team.

I will pass your comments on to the building administrator about the temperatures in the waiting room and the suggestion for some artwork on the walls. That is something that we are really keen to take forward to make the environment suitable and inviting for all.

Best wishes,

Lynn
