Full Left Knee Replacement, outstanding care from start to finish.

From the very first pre-op appointment right through to my follow-up today, my experience with Dr Rehman and the entire Kirkcaldy Hospital team has been absolutely phenomenal.

Dr Rehman made me feel completely welcomed, reassured, and cared for from the moment we met. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail are truly exceptional. During my surgery, which I watched live on the big screen under spinal anaesthetic, Dr Rehman and his team were outstanding — calm, supportive, and always making sure I was comfortable and informed.

Every single member of staff I encountered, from pre-op to recovery, was caring, friendly, and highly professional. The level of care I received was faultless and far exceeded my expectations.

I genuinely can’t thank Dr Rehman and the team enough for their incredible work and compassion. Kirkcaldy Hospital is very lucky to have such dedicated and talented professionals.

Good morning

My name is Yvonne, I am the Senior Charge Nurse within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department in the National Treatment Centre.

Thank you so very much for providing such wonderful feedback. We work exceptionally hard making sure each and every patient is treated as an individual, is listened to and heard and is given care tailored exactly to their needs. Feedback is so valuable to how we deliver care as it gives us a platform to recognise what we are doing well and the opportunity to improve our service and practice. To hear your positive feedback really motivates us to keep working hard and continue to strive for clinical excellence.

I will share your wonderful feedback with Dr Rehman and all of the Orthopaedic Team.

I am so pleased to hear that you felt the team was outstanding. We aim to ensure that all of our patients are comfortable and fully informed about everything throughout their stay with us, as you are very much apart of this journey and the decisions involved in your care.

Here as a team we like to ensure that all our patients experience a calm and supportive environment to recover and progress throughout their post operative journey and this pleases me to hear that you were able to experience this throughout your stay.
