"Superb treatment"

I should just like to record the outstanding care I received at the Interventional Oncology Department at Leeds St James' Hospital. I had a cryoablation kidney procedure carried out by Professor Wah and apart from the impressive medical expertise of Professor Wah I should like to pass on my appreciation of the personal kindness, friendliness and time given by Professor Wah and all in her department.

In this department, patients are treated with warmth, a smile and a real interest in them as people : we are not just systems needing impersonal repair, but individuals who matter. I am sure this makes a difference to outcomes as well as to the personal experience of their treatment.
