"My recent experience as a day patient"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Went in for day surgery for bunion and hammer toe correction.

Felt completely at ease and was advised by every consultant what would be happening and what I needed to do. Even down to the type of anaesthetic that was available and the best one for me. 

Put me completely at ease when I was feeling slightly anxious having a fear of needles.
