"Pre-Assessment Clinic"

About: Victoria Hospital / Pre-assessment

(as the patient),

I was warmly greeted by a nurse practitioner who introduced herself and immediately put me at my ease. She was very compassionate as she asked me pages of relevant questions and then explained the procedures on the day of the operation. It felt as if I was in a very relaxed rather than medical atmosphere.

Dear Vicmagmc,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your time in the pre-assessment department.

I am pleased to hear that you felt at ease and relaxed during your appointment and that you had the admission process explained to you.

It is important to us that patient's attending pre-assessment feel well informed and comfortable to ensure they feel able to ask questions which are important to them and have the best possible surgical journey.

On behalf of the pre-assessment team I wish you well with your upcoming surgery and recovery.

Kind regards

Stephanie Allan

Senior Charge Nurse
